Jeff Johnson, CEO Jeff Johnson has over 10 years’ experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, with expertise in wholesale, distribution, importation and sales.  As a managing partner in Old Nassau Imports (creators of Double Cross Vodka), he successfully helped build a brand that in 2014 sold 50,000 6-pack cases in North America and generated over $6 million in revenue.  In addition, Mr. Johnson has over 20 years of high-level sales and marketing experience in the waste management industry, with the majority of that time spent in two Fortune 500 companies, Browning-Ferris Industries and Waste Management Inc.  Jeff lives in Portland with his family, but loves to travel the world in search of great spirits!

Britt Murray, Operations Manager Britt brings a plethora of food and beverage experience as well as a strong taste of event management and behind the scenes management. Her past experiences range from managing a small staff at a high end restaurant, event planning for a large golf course and most recently, marketing for a computer software company based out of NYC. With a background in just about everything, she has found her happy place in running the behind the scenes operations of Stroudwater. Britt has a love for Portland and when not at work, enjoys everything the growing city has to offer including chasing her dogs around the ocean side and indulging in the nearest food truck. Britt has a passion for supporting local crafts and is enthusiastic about sharing her experiences. Her favorite drink changes daily so when you stop by, be sure to ask what she's feeling that day.

Shawn McLaughlin, Director of Sales - New England Shawn has spent the last 15 years working in the food and beverage industry in several different capacities. After starting his career having success bartending at many of Bostons top bars and restaurants, he worked  as an on premise specialist with SVEDKA Vodka in the early days of the brand. As part of the SVEDKA on premise task force, Shawn worked on new flavor launches, national marketing campaigns, and executed industry and brand events in the Massachusetts market. He later worked as a field sales manager for Constellation brands, specifically the luxury portfolio which included brands like Robert Mondavi, Kim Crawford, Franciscan, Simi,Clo DU Bois, and many others.  After working as the Director of Marketing for Phoenix Media Communications in Boston, Shawn moved to Portland where he worked extensively with many of Maine's top restaurants and bars while in his role at Maine Media Collective. Here he worked on several food and chef events, namely the Kennebunkport Food and Wine Festival. Most recently, Shawn worked as the General Manager of Cellardoor Winery at Thompson's Point, where he helped to build and open their new tasting room in Portland. He brings a strong knowlegde of all things spirits, a passion for building brands, and working with industry partners to help drive revenue and increase sales.

Joe Brandolo, Director of Sales - Mid Atlantic I am very fortunate that my career reflects my lifestyle.  Starting out initially in the restaurant business, working in the front of the house, eventually led me to a career in sales in both wines and spirits. For over twenty-five years I straddled both worlds of distributor sales and supplier roles working for some amazing companies that include Fedway Associates, Lauber Imports, Pernod Ricard, and The Winebow Group.   I love to talk about my time as a Brand Ambassador for Pernod Ricard, hosting events for all kinds of groups tasting whiskies with the Secret Service in DC to the Shooting Academy at Nemacolin Woodlands in PA.  The entrepreneurial bug hit me a few times, having owned two restaurants and one wine distribution business. On a personal note, my wife and I enjoy life in South Jersey with our 3 rescue dogs tending our culinary garden and beekeeping most weekends.  I am a former chapter leader and now active member of Slow Food, an International food movement started in Italy, that works toward getting people to take an interest in where their food comes from and how it is produced.  At Northstar I look forward to building our brands.
